1973 Karmann Ghia resto-Mod with BACKdated “looks” and UPdated performance.
Beautifully and skillfully reconditioned to be driven, shown and admired. It is vastly superior in performance to the original car and with the COLD air conditioning and warm heat, it can be enjoyed for an extended season.
This was NOT a budget restricted build. Over $83,000 was spent (…. documented with RECEIPTS) in the making of this metal masterpiece. The goal was to build the ultimate Karmann Ghia with superior performance while preserving that “LOOK” we all fell in love with in the first place. I believe that goal was achieved but it took more than just a large pile of money. It took a significant investment of ‘highly skilled and imaginative’ man hours along with the knowledge of the best materials and components to incorporate into the build.
